Longtime academic professor and researcher Dr. Fouad H. Fouad, PE passed away on July 9, 2026. Dr. Fouad served as Chair of the UAB Civil, Construction, and Environmental Engineering Department for over 40 years and was a significant contributor to spun cast prestressed concrete poles, concrete technology, and engineering education.
