Girl Day

“Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day” (Girl Day) is a global initiative designed to spark curiosity and inspire girls to explore the exciting world of engineering.  Through hands-on activities and exposure to inspiring role models, this event aims to broaden their understanding of what engineers do and empower them to pursue careers in engineering and technology.  Be part of this exciting, fun-filled day!  Together, we can shape the future by helping girls discover the limitless possibilities in engineering and ignite their passion for innovation.

-Registration begins at 8:30am, with an Assembly starting promptly at 9:15am.  Schools will check in and receive a Welcome Packet at the front table and will then be escorted to the meeting room for a demonstration.
-Please refrain from concessions at movie time. We are on a tight schedule and will eat lunch after the movie.
-The Event lasts until 1:00pm. Students can roam the Adventure Hall from 1-5:00pm. This is separate from the event and free to our guests!  You must have yellow sticker to roam the Adventure Hall, they will be given out at the end of the event.
-There is Free parking in the McWane Science Center parking deck for teachers, chaperones, and volunteers. Enter the event area from the parking deck. Tokens will be given at registration for those who park in parking deck.
*Please let us know if your school will be coming via bus for parking purposes.  Buses unload at the front door of the McWane Science Center and can then park in a remote lot. Driver can be shuttled back and forth.
