One of the primary goals and objectives of the ISA Birmingham Section is to provide technical information and educational opportunities.  A focus is on students and assisting them in their pursuit of a technical degree.  This is something that we need to make members and students aware of.

Please be aware that the International Society of Automation (ISA) has an international scholarship program for deserving students.  There are numerous awards available and a student may apply for any of them.  Some are from the ISA Educational Foundation, and others are sponsored and supported by various sections, divisions, or other segments of the society.  It is time for the applications to be filed and the deadline is February 28, 2023, so please pass this information on to others who may be interested.  
The ISA Birmingham Section has a named endowed scholarship that is to go to a student in the Southern North America District of the society.  This provides an excellent opportunity for financial aid for students in this area of the country.
